The Deaver Festival Art ... in all its Forms 2010
kicks off our First Annual event
to bring local art and artists together
with talent from outside our area.
The Festival will celebrate local artists and crafters by showcasing their talents in exhibits, booths and workshops.
FUN RUN & WALK - 5K and 1 mile for all ages and fitness levels!
Local teachers and children are invited to exhibit artwork, poetry, crafted metal-shop and wood-shop items, band, choir, drama and dance performances for the community!
Artists from the surrounding area and beyond are invited to display and sell their artwork, perform music, dance, drama and poetry, and host workshops.
Historians, please come to share your excitement about historical events and past eras! Storytellers are invited to weave the magic of tales for young and old alike!
Cowboy poets will be welcome as they bring our western lifestyle to life in words and song!
Non-profit organizations are invited to set-up a fee-free booth for information or fundraising!
A 9/11 Commemoration will be held at 1 pm at the Stage Area to remember... and to celebrate our appreciation of our local troops, and patriotism of our local community.
Farmer's Market and Yard Sale booths are available!
Live music all day,
and a Barn Dance will end the day's festivities
from 5-9 pm!
